there's a tear in the fabric of your favorite dress
and i'm sneaking glances.
looking for the patterns in static
they start to make sense the longer i'm at it.
your heart is a river that flows from your chest
through every organ
your brain is the dam
and i am the fish who can't reach the core.
oh, instincts are misleading
you shouldn't think what you're feeling
they don't tell you what you know you should want.

.general information.
Name: Colleen Amelia Savage
Nickname(s): Coll, Savage, Savvy - I wouldn’t recommend this one though. xD
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Blood Status: Pure-blood. As pure as snow is white.
Family: Mother – Tina Amelia Andrea Savage, 45
Father – Paul John Savage, 46
Sister – Concolora Andrea Savage, 17
Birthdate: 16th October
.appearance.
Eye Color: Dark emerald, might seem a bit brown in some lights.
Hair Color: Blonde
Hair Style: Usually a bit messy, unless it is in a ponytail, which means she’s actually put an effort into it. Otherwise, it’s just messy.
Height: 5’5
Weight: 122 lbs
Build: Skinny; she’s not too curvy at all.
Clothing: The usual Hogwarts attire when she’s at school, but else she wears colourful clothes along with black, trying her best not to look too ordinary. One day she might put a lot of effort into looking good with cleanly applied make-up, but many days she just walks around in worn clothes she feels are comfortable for her in addition to thick – and maybe a bit carelessly applied – black eyeliner lines around her eyes.
.background.
Hometown: Waterford, Ireland, but she usually goes to her relatives in Cornwall during the summer holidays.
Personality: Colleen is far from the nice and quite girl… sure, she doesn’t speak unnecessary things, but if she feels there is a need, she’ll speak up with a loud and bright voice which seems to have the ability to pierce any noise.
Her patience can seem limitless one moment, but just say the right words and she’ll lose her temper. Lucky for you at that point is that she most likely won’t jump on you; instead, she’ll throw a few well-picked curses at you. Believe me, she knows some very nasty curses, even though she might not seem to talented during lessons, wasting the time staring out the window unless you talk to her.
Colleen has no desire whatsoever to be nice. She doesn’t care about what people think about her, she doesn’t need friends. At least not of the female kind; males on the other hand… she’ll want to know you. She’ll make sure to know you, but if you are a girl and not that interesting to her, she won’t bother. Therefore, she sees no reason to be nice and friendly to every Mudblood she meets on the street. If you are Muggle-born and walk down the corridor, watch out. You’ll hear a cackling laugh and then you’ll see the petite blonde coming down the corridor, a smirk on her lips and her hand in the pocket of her robes. Look closely and you might have a chance to notice the outline of a wand. Don’t be scared to look at her, she’ll attack you from behind anyway if she’s in the mood.
She has friends though. Or people she sees as friends and she can be nice to them. A good side of her is that she will mostly keep any secret you confide her, as long as you’re a pure-blood anyway. Gossip interests her, maybe because she can make something nasty to call someone out of it. Anyone who knows the proud pure-blood Savage can say that she knows most things that are worth to know about those worth to know anything about.
And proud she is.
No matter who you are, what blood flows in your veins, if you do her a favour, she will pay it back. Some who know they have her liking anyway can perhaps tell you a story about how embarrassed Savage has been to do a favour to a Muggle-born.
Another example of her pride is that she is rather ashamed of her sister and avoids speaking to her. The much more open-minded Concolora doesn’t share Colleen’s strict beliefs that this new Lord Voldemort is the man, nor Colleen’s pride to be pure-blood, and Conna is also talented at anything that has with school to do. Maybe the crack in the speaking terms came from jealousy, or maybe they just don’t get along despite Conna’s continuous attempts to be friendly; anyway, Colleen doesn’t speak of and not with her sister willingly.
With her friends, she does make an effort to be a good friend. She won’t let you step on her, no. She’ll stand her ground in any conflict all along and won’t retreat, but she’ll try to be fair. For Colleen, that’s a lot asked. As I mentioned, she is rather fond of having male friends; knowing and be accepted by anyone she finds interesting. Also, if a boy asks her to do something, she is very likely to do it as long as she can keep her precious pride.
History: The pure-blood family with their Manor (one of them) outside Waterford, well-hidden for Muggles, has always been a pure-blood family to be everywhere with a finger in the game. The Savages know many pure-blood families and are family friends with families in France, England, Scotland and Wales. The great-great-great grandfather of Colleen was a rich and generous man who split his fortune into several bank accounts with a hundred galleons. Those were given to every Savage born after him. Colleen was the last one to get one of those accounts, but she has never taken any money from it.
Tina Savage has always been keen to have the proper image whilst Paul Savage was more into saying his opinions and making a point. Neither of the parents have ever given much devotion to raise their two daughters, resulting in that they went their own ways; Concolora got Muggle friends very early, whilst Colleen proudly only was around wizards and witches. Colleen is her father’s girl whilst Conna always has been their mother’s favourite; talented and pretty. Colleen’s father always let Colleen travel to France and Great Britain to visit her friends and their families.
When Colleen started school, she soon learnt that her sister fit rather well into the description of ‘blood-traitor’ and began to take some distance from her. That distance resulted in an open conflict and Colleen begged to her father in a letter that she could stay at their second Manor, which is mostly empty, in Cornwall next door to their relatives and live of her own money. Though the money situation at the Savages isn’t that great, her father said she couldn’t move yet.
Colleen still wanders around waiting for the day when she can move.
