A tinkle of a bell on the door assured the owner of Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour that Lily Evans had left the shop. Not that she had caused trouble. She had just taken a very long time choosing which ice cream flavor she had wanted. Even after six years of being in Diagon Alley, she could still not get over the fact that there were just too many flavors. She licked the top of her ice cream, feeling it's cold yet splendid taste inside of her mouth. It was like...magic. Obviously.
Lily walked down the streets, wearing just a simple black skirt that reached her knees, a white blouse and a thin, yet long crimson and gold scarf that was tied along her neck. Still holding her ice cream, she looked in the many shops and gazed, awed by all the sights she saw. Through the glass she saw the most beautiful owl; but when she looked at the glass itself, she saw her very own emerald green eyes twinkling back at her. Famous for those eyes, she thought to herself with a small smile.
She walked on, nodding politely to wizards and witches that had waved at her, even though she was sure that they had no idea who she was. And vice-versa. But it was always a Lily Evans thing to be courteous. To most everyone she was...except for that James Potter and his dear friend Sirius Black. The Marauder's they called themselves along with Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. As if they think they're that cool. But to her dismay, the rest of the school did think they were cool. James and Sirius both had a possy of girls drooling at their feet. Remus and Peter weren't as bad; in fact, she was nicer and friendly to them as they were to her. But she shook the Marauder's out of her head. There were better things to think about then them.

"Sirius where'd you go..." Whined Peter Pettigrew. He had been picked up from his house early today after hearing that Remus had run away from home. James too was some where in Diagon Alley ((I'll play James until we get one xD)) looking for either Remus or Sirius. He wasn't quite sure, but he really did hate being stuck alone like this. Continuing his shouting a few people looked down at him, and scurried away rather quickly. After all he was looking for a member of the Black family. Though it seemed to go unnoticed by the rest of the Wizarding World that Sirius had been disowned by the family the moment he moved out to go live with the Potter's. Peter though had nothing too interesting about himself; well besides the bad mood about being awake since 4am. Even so he still thought it was worth waking up that early to go find Remus. They had gone to about 20 other places before coming here to find him. Turning around he saw Lily and smiled happily waving hello.
"Lily! Lily! Have you seen Remus anywhere?" He asked running up to her.

Hearing a familiar voice behind her, she turned around and smiled.
"Hello Peter." she said with a friendly smile. He was as scrawny as ever but still the same boy.
"No...I actually haven't seen Remus. Or any of the others, now that you mention it." she said, shrugging. And I'm not exactly sure I want to, she thought to herself. She walked with him to wherever, still peering at the windows and smiling. Quality Quidditch. She had never really been much of a broom rider but she still loved the sport. Except Potter.
"So how has your summer been?" she asked, politely.

Looking at Lily he sighed as he dropped his head shaking it slowly. He heard James calling out Remus' name in the distance and now Peter had been quite sure that their friend wasn't here. "It was good until Sirius and James came and picked me up this morning," he told her. "Remus ran off, and now no one knows where he is..." He explained looking rather depressed at his friends disappearance.

Lily frowned, "James is here?" she asked him.
As of right now, she really did not want anything to do with him. It was one thing to deal with him during school but when they were outside of it?
She shook her head, "Remus'll come around. He always does." she said, patting him on the back, reassuring him. "Promise. Maybe he just went to get his books or eat." she said, shrugging. "He's ought to be around her, so don't worry." [/center]

"I don't think so, his dad said he ran out after his mother threaten to keep him home this year," Peter sighed pulling out a letter he had gotten this morning after Sirius and James showed up. It turned out all of them had gotten it too; his owl just seemed to be a bit late that morning. Reading over it for a moment he folded it back up and placed it back into his pocket. "He said he's been missing for a few days now too, and that he's checked everywhere supposedly...and the full moons in three days..."
Not like Lily had known what a full moon meant, but still he was bloody worried about what would happen. What if Remus had forgotten it was in three days! Or what if he was lying dead somewhere by a Werewolf hunter. The thoughts rushed through his head and his eyes grew large and water at the thought of one of his best friend being dead in a ditch.

"They threatened to keep him at home?" Lily said, now extremely concerned. "But why? Has he done something wrong? And what does a full moon have to do with anything?" she asked, not knowing that he was a werewolf.
She studied Peter for a few. He had always been the follower of the group. Remus as well, but not as much. James and Sirius were somewhat, "leaders" in the Marauders. She looked at his worried face and she was quite frightened that he might go into a spasm or something.
"It'll be fine. Remus will be fine."
And about Remus.. the only sensible one in the group, she probably had a closer friendship to him then any of the other Marauders. She had developed feelings for him. Extremely small, but still..it was something. As for James, every time he was around, she was confused at how she felt. He was handsome, no point in denying that but she loathed his personality.
She shook her thoughts on James and Remus out of her head and snapped back to Peter.

"But Remus is too busy reading books to know how to deal with people!" Peter panicked James rushing up by this side now.
"Did you find him!?" He asked, as the small fat boy shook his head no rapidly. James groaned and looked up at Lily; though, his frown had not faded away. He was obsessed with Lily, but he had more things to do then droll over her today. "Hi Lily," was all he said to her before running off again screaming out Remus' name hoping that the male would come out of hiding.

Lily laughed at Peter's comment. "I'm sure that Remus is learning something in all those books he reads. Whether it's how to deal with people, I'm not sure. But again. He. Will. Be. Fine." she said.
James had came to them and she grimaced thinking there was going to be some stupid showing off today. But no...he had just given her a "Hi Lily.".
"Hi Jam--" But he was off. She was confused, "Did you see what I just saw?" she said, wondering if she was supposed to be happy about that. "He's a very good friend." she said quietly before turning back to Peter.

Sirius chuckled at Remus and then walked into Diagon Alley to see Peter and Lily talking. "Oi Peter!" he yelled raising his hand in the air and was waving to him. "I found Mr. Moony here in the Leaky Cauldron," he yelled ignoring the stares from the few people that were passing by quietly. It was a matter of seconds before he was standing next to Peter Pettigrew and Lily Evans and he was smiling happily.
"Lily, how do you do?" he asked still smiling.
"Oi and Peter where did Jamesey go? He was supposed to be with you!" he said saying the new nickname he had come up with to tease James. "I would say he's probably trying to find Remus still, but ol' Moony here is with me! Meaning I win!" he said even if there wasn't a contest going on. What could he say? He was a jackass.

"Doing lovely." Lily said to Sirius. "Remus. About time, I was quite worried that Peter here was going to piss in his pants if he didn't see you again." She smiled.
"How have you boys been?" she asked. She listened to Sirius' remarks and her green eyes narrowed into a cold stare. "So you guys have been playing hide-and-seek? And Sirius, you 'won'?" She folded her arms.

Remus had walked up next to them and sighed at his comment, Peter at once jumped on to him knocking the trunk out of his hands as they tumbled to the ground. "MOONY YOU'RE ALRIGHT YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" He squeaked happily, while Remus just laughed.
"Yes Peter I'm alright," he smiled as the male slid off him, and stood back to his feet and then helpped him up as well. "And what am I too you Padfoot? A game?!" He sighed, though James had came running when he head Sirius' and Peter's voices. "I can take care of myself I'd have you know..."
"Yeah like you did the first year?" James asked now standing behind Lupin, and Remus turned around his face flushed in embarrassment.
"That was different..."
"Yeah sure, eh bloody jackass you had us worried sick about you!" James told him poking his forehead.
"Well I'm--"
"Doesn't matter my parents already wrote back to your dad saying if we found you, that you'll be staying with us."
"Bu-"
"No but's Remmy!"

Lily looked at the four Marauder's all together. She had known all four since first year, however, there were times where she would absolutely love them, and other times where she would loathe each and every one of them. She smiled at Remus and James though. Although he had been quite an asshole through the past six years, she had to admit, he was a very good friend. Giving hospitality to not one, but two people made her respect James a bit more.

Remus looked down at the ground, but shook his head yes at James who smiled happily. Patting the younger males shoulder and looked up at Lily a grin plastered across his face now. Peter was looking up at Remus tugging on his arm and chatting about something that didn't seem to make sense to anyone else besides the other Marauders. James took this chance of distraction and slid next to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"So Lily, were you worried about me?" He asked smiling happily as he looked around for someone to show off on, though it was no use considering he couldn't use magic outside of Hogwarts. He glanced over at Remus who seemed to have started to walk away, but he had quickly grabbed the others wrist now standing in front of Lily and still facing her. "How about we go on a date while here!"

Lily rose an eyebrow as James became the boy he was: arragont and overly confident. She had hoped for him to change.
"Extremely worried." she said dryly. Watching him was actually quite painful. It was like re-reading a book you disliked over and over and over. And it got old. It didn't seem like Potter got it though.
"I don't think so." Lily said slowly, not wanting to reject him with spite. She looked at the other Marauders. "But I might stay and walk with you guys. There's no one else here." she said, taking a quick look around; scanning with her sharp green eyes. Nope, no one.
